HIRING FOR POSITIONS IN PHOENIX AND MESA, AZ

At My Myo we take a holistic approach to care, focusing on function and root cause, treating the whole person- not just the parts. Our growing practice is a fee-for-service, family-run practice with two locations in the valley, while also offering virtual therapy sessions. Our team’s professional background includes dental and speech professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide diagnostic evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and conduct therapy sessions to address speech/language disorders, including orofacial dysfunction in children and adults. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has had training in TOTS and orofacial myofunctional disorders, airway, feeding, and/or tethered oral tissues.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience working with children, of all backgrounds and needs, and possess a strong desire to help and advocate for your clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess speech and language disorders including orofacial dysfunction
• Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding speech and language disorders, orofacial dysfunction, treatment options, and home exercise programs
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Attend training sessions and workshops to expand knowledge and skills

Qualifications (for Speech Language Pathologist):

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Arizona state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience/willingness to work with children, babies, and toddlers- including those with special needs
• Willingness to learn and receive training in orofacial myology and/or tethered oral tissues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Coachable and adaptable to changing requirements and expectations
