Speech therapy and myofunctional therapy go hand in hand. Speech concerns can be addressed with our co-treatment approach. Our speech therapist can help with your concerns such as:

Feeding

Swallowing 

Communication 

Fluency 

Lisp / Articulation 

Our speech therapist will work with your child and your family to provide therapy in a loving and supportive manner. 

Why choose us?

Our practice's model for speech therapy is to address function first. This means we will work on the muscles that help produce speech sounds and ensure they are strong enough, there is a working balance and coordination within the mouth and face muscles so then speech therapy is successful. We also address barriers to speech/communication such as oral restrictive ties and or airway concerns; via a collaborative approach to their individual treatment plan. This focus is treating the root cause. Once the therapist maximizes strength, coordination, and functional ability they will focus on speech. Typically after 4-6 sessions of myofunctional therapy.
